November 2016, Joanna celebrated Winning-at-Losing 25 pounds to reach her chosen Healthy Weight Zone (HWZ). Joanna continues to this day in her HWZ because as she says, “I feel happier and lighter on my feet, comfortable and confident in myself.”
Joanna states, “The Winning-at-Losing program really works! It is not a diet. It is easy to implement into your lifestyle without being a stick in the mud.” She likes how the program is taught and found it motivating. Plus, she enjoyed the company of the ladies in the program.”

Hi, my name is Shalini. The Winning-at-Losing program is one of the best things that ever happened to me. I was obese from a very young age. When I started the program with Jo-Anne in June 2015 I was 180 pounds - unhappy, low self-esteem, always tired and putting more effort than required for everything.
After diligently following this program, I lost 35 pounds to reach my chosen Healthy Weight Zone (HWZ) in March 2016. How I felt at the end of the program was surprising.
Roxanne celebrated Winning-at-Losing 15 pounds to reach her chosen Healthy Weight Zone (HWZ) June 2015. Roxanne states that the Winning-at-Losing program is not a “diet”, it is a healthy way to eat for the rest of your life. To this day she continues her healthy way to eat and exercise which helps her continue to manage her HWZ.
May 2021, Roxanne wrote: “The benefits I have learned from eating healthier are:My body feels strong and healthy. I have never worried about getting sick because I feel that because of my healthy way of eating and daily exercise, I (my body) can combat anything.
Leading a healthy lifestyle and sticking with it has made me feel better about myself physically and mentally. I am proud of my healthy lifestyle choices. All because of your “Program.”
November 2021, Deborah celebrated Winning-at-Losing 15 pounds with her online Zoom group members. Deborah is an imaginative writer so in celebration she wrote a poem about her Winning-at-Losing experience. One verse in below. Read full poem further below. Doable, realistic...
No foods counted out,
Measuring cups and food scales,
to banish all doubt.
1200 the number, of calories to count,

April 2021, Donna celebrated Winning-at-Losing 20 pounds to reach her chosen Healthy Weight Zone (HWZ). Donna stated that she will manage her HWZ by continuing to pre-plan meals using food groups and adding some strengthening exercises.
Donna also stated that her joint pains and allergies stopped. “My joints have felt much better since I started my program. My allergy to Vitamin C has not bothered me for the past two months and I have been able to eat citrus fruits. And, my clothes fit better especially around my middle section and thighs.”

April 2014, Cindi celebrated Winning-at-Losing 25 pounds to reach her chosen Healthy Weight Zone (HWZ).
Cindi continues to this day in her HWZ because as she wrote in May 2021, “it is so great to know that you continue to help people like me to lead healthy and happy lives. I am happy to report that I am still at my goal weight. Indeed, you taught me how to think about food differently and how to understand the difference in effect which is so much dependent on what you eat rather than just how much you eat.”

July 2021, Carolyn celebrated Winning-at-Losing 17 pounds to reach her chosen Healthy Weight Zone (HWZ). Carolyn says that her personal wins are: my clothes fit great on me, smiling at myself in the mirror and feeling good about not eating past my full point.

I was looking for ways to invest in my future health when I heard about the Winning-at-Losing program from the nurse at the school where I work. Winning-at-Losing suggests some easy lifestyle fixes like drinking more water, not eating late and mindfully eating while seated. Some Winning-at-Losing tools that worked for me are learning portion sizes and keeping an Eating Record.
Christine’s weight loss journey started in January 2015. The following January, Christine celebrated Winning-at-Losing 60 pounds to reach her chosen Healthy Weight Zone (HWZ). To this day, Christine continues to use the tools she learnt to personalize her own Winning-at-Losing lifestyle through all of life’s challenges.

I had always struggled with my weight and especially after having two children and an operation. I no longer recognised myself in the mirror. I felt hopeless, defeated and tired. I struggled to find energy to do even the simplest of things. Getting dressed and packing up to leave the house with the children was a huge task. I had tried and failed at diets like no carbs. I did not want to go on a ‘diet’. I wanted to change my life. The Winning-at-Losing program was recommended to me by a friend. The program has definitely changed my life forever!
I feel good about my weight loss because…
